Heather Locklear Arrested After Reportedly Punching Police Officer

Locklear was released this morning after posting $20,000 bail.

Heather Locklear was arrested again on Sunday night for punching a police officer and kicking an emergency medical worker, authorities said. A hearing for her incident will be held in court Tuesday, Variety reported.

According to police, officers were separating Locklear from the other party involved, which is when Locklear allegedly kicked one of the deputies interviewing her and she was arrested on the scene. Deputies arrested Locklear, but before booking her, they wanted to medically clear her because of the way she acted, and she seemed heavily intoxicated, authorities said.

Cops were called to her house twice and when they arrived the second time, she was "booked for 2 counts of misdemeanor battery upon an officer and emergency personnel", according to TMZ.

It's been a rough month for Heather Locklear.

Locklear was placed on an involuntary 5150 psych hold last week by her parents after she reportedly assaulted them.

In 911 dispatch audio obtained by the site, the family member described Locklear as erratic and said she was looking for a gun to shoot herself.

She was also well-known for her role in Melrose Place in the 1990s.

Her next court appearance for this case is scheduled for August 23, two weeks after a hearing regarding her February arrest under similar circumstances.

Locklear has openly struggled with depression, anxiety and substance abuse. After calls, police arrived and recognized her white Porsche. In 2008, she was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of prescription drugs.
