Superintendent Allegedly Pooped On Football Field Of A School In Another District

Tramaglini is the superintendent of a neighboring district located more than a half hour from where he was caught in the act by school employees.

New Jersey police have charged Kenilworth Public Schools Superintendent Thomas Tramaglini with relieving himself in public early Monday morning after school officials reported finding "daily" deposits of excrement by an athletic field.

The Holmdel Township Police Department said Holmdel High School staff were finding fresh piles of poop on a daily basis in the area surrounding the facility's football and track fields.

Staff and the school resource officer monitored the area and identified Tramaglini as the suspect. Tramaglini is a Matawan resident, police said.

Forty-two-year-old Thomas Tramaglini aka the "Pooper-intendent" is now on a paid leave of absence following the accusations. He is due in municipal court in Holmdel at 8:15 a.m. Monday to answer the charges. He is on a paid leave of absence now.

Tramaglini is also a part-time lecturer for the Rutgers Graduate School of Education, according to public records.

While the case is pending against Tramaglini, Brian Luciani, the Kenilworth district's director of academics, will handle the duties of superintendent to ensure that the district continues "its responsibilities without interruption", according to a statement released by the Kenilworth school board.
