Ant-Man And The Wasp Poster Ahead of Trailer

Ant-Man And The Wasp Poster Ahead of Trailer

The trailer, released Tuesday, basically just gives us more information on which bad guy Hank Pym, Scott Lang and Hope Van Dyne are trying to stop next.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe isn't stopping any time soon.

Where was Ant-Man? That question was on many moviegoers' mind as they watched Avengers: Infinity War. We get a glimpse at Ghost, the antagonist for the film, and learn that Hank Pym has made some strides into the quantum realm since the last movie.

Whatever the truth behind the delay, in a fan base where online reaction is key it's hard to imagine United Kingdom audiences getting super-excited about a Marvel film that will already be old news before it's even released.

With all the hype surrounding the debut of "Avengers: Infinity War" in theaters, you might have forgotten about Marvel's pocket-sized hero Ant-Man.

But Ant-Man and the Wasp has another major problem: who in the blue hell cares about Ant-Man and the Wasp?! On the new one sheet from Marvel Studios and Disney, Evangeline Lilly takes the lead as the MCU unleashes its latest unconventional team. And then it finally happened, Paul Rudd got cast as the lead role in a superhero movie to be written and directed by Edgar Wright no less!

What do you think about this trailer? After the superhero movie released worldwide, fans and critics from around the world were left bewildered when they did not find Ant-Man and Hawkeye during the superheroes' fight with the mighty Thanos.

But as McFeely's writing partner Markus pointed out, Ant-Man the character just didn't jibe with the ultimately dark and serious outcome of Infinity War - especially with the character;s cheery sequel, Ant-Man and the Wasp, opening just a few months later.

Scott Lang (PAUL RUDD) was one of those noticeably absent during INFINITY WAR, and it's not clear yet as to whether this adventure is happening prior to that adventure or parallel to it. It also stars Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfieffer, Bobby Cannavale, Judy Greer, Abby Ryder Fortson, Tip "T.I".
