Grades: OKC Thunder get blown out by the Jazz in Game 3

He became the first Jazz player since John Stockton (2001) to reach double digits in three statistical categories in a playoff game. "It's huge. Have huge respect for him, and playing here is great because I know how important a point guard he is for this franchise".

Russell Westbrook was the only Thunder player with more than 10 rebounds, while Rudy Gobert (12), Donovan Mitchell (11) and Ricky Rubio (11) all got in on the act.

It was a game of runs, but the Thunder couldn't make plays to beat the Jazz as they steal home court with a 102-95 win.

When Adams went to the bench in the second quarter, Utah made its decisive 25-8 run, dominating the glass and getting all kinds of good shots inside.

"I've been on staffs - and frankly I've done it too - where the whole staff will stay late and watch the game", he said.

Rubio outplayed the reigning MVP Westbrook, who finished with 14 points on 5-of-17 shooting and eight turnovers. Pair that with strong assists numbers by the Jazz in the first half (13), and Ricky Rubio scoring 14 of Utah's next 15 points, and the Jazz would enter the break with a five-point lead despite shooting 29.4 percent from deep at half. A loss would be doubly deflating; not only would the Jazz lose home-court, but they would go back to Oklahoma City for Game 5 with the Thunder thinking they have control of the matchup.

Rubio said once his team fell behind by 10, he knew the team had to "bring it".

"We have to have that mentality", he said, then added, "I don't want to put that emphasis on this game being do or die". The whole season, I've been saying if somebody gets by me, it's like, "All right, go ahead, try it". "Now it's all about kind of just understanding the situation that we're in".

His achievement was heightened by the fact it came against the triple-double king, Westbrook. "We've got a lot of guys that can step up, so let's see what they take away".

As for Adams, he admits he never thinks he fouls, saying, "I have a problem with every call to be honest. So yeah, it moves you one foul closer to the bonus", Thunder coach Billy Donovan said.

Game 4 is set for Monday in Salt Lake City. The Thunder did a good job on him for three quarters of Game 2, but he was able to get rolling and torch the OKC defense for 13 points in the fourth quarter.
