Conor McGregor Released on Bail From NYPD

McGregor has been charged with three counts of assault and one count of criminal mischief following a fracas after a press event at Brooklyn's Barclay Center on Thursday evening.

Video from CBS shows McGregor being escorted from the New York Police Department in handcuffs as he's placed in a waiting auto to be transported to the court where he will appear before the judge for his arraignment. The bus was moving slowly through the Brooklyn stadium parking lot at the time.

Cowley was hit with charges of misdemeanor assault and one count of criminal mischief.

The UFC star appeared in court alongside fellow fighter Cian Cowley, who was released on a 25,000 dollar bail for the same offence.

Of course, this was in relation to an incident on Thursday where McGregor and at least a dozen others attacked a bus of UFC fighters at the Barclays Centre in Brooklyn, New York. Chiesa later said on Twitter that the New York State Athletic Commission determined he would not be allowed to fight on Saturday. 'Most of the things I would rather not say, and probably can't say on TV'. McGregor is ultimately not bigger than the UFC, and if the company - dependent as it is on drawing money from the likes of the controversial Irishman - has any integrity, it will punish its flagship fighter severely.

They were chasing down Khabib Nurmagomedov, who confronted Artem Lobov earlier this week inside the fighter hotel.

Ultimate fighting star Conor McGregor, left, is led by an official to an unmarked vehicle while leaving the 78th Precinct of the New York Police Department. One showed McGregor throwing a metal hand cart through a bus window, shattering the glass. This is not the Conor McGregor I know.

"Obviously, the big question everybody's been asking me is, 'Are you firing Conor McGregor?'" Mr White told the broadcaster.

After one more decisive victory in New York, McGregor scaled the UFC octagon and draped two championship belts over his shoulder while a sold-out crowd roared in approval. But in the history of the UFC, this is definitely the worst thing that's happened. Ray Borg, a flyweight who was scheduled to battle Brandon Moreno, also was deemed unfit to fight after suffering corneal abrasions.

"I can imagine he's going to be sued beyond belief", continued White.

McGregor last fought at all in a boxing match he lost to Floyd Mayweather Jr. on August 26, 2017.

Multiple videos appeared on social media within hours on the incident. "You's'll strip me of nothing", he tweeted, invoking an expletive.
