Neymar to Real Madrid? Ask Florentino Pérez, says Emery

Paris Saint-Germain have denied that Brazi superstar Neymar has asked for a major pay-rise in order to remain at the Ligue 1 leaders beyond the end of the season.

PSG president Nasser al-Khelaifi visited the 26-year-old at his luxury home in Brazil earlier this week as the player recovers from surgery ahead of this summer's World Cup in Russian Federation.

Neymar has been linked with Real Madrid, but PSG have looked to dispel the speculation.

Neymar left Real Madrid's arch rivals Barcelona in the summer to join Paris Saint-Germain and has been a huge hit in the city of lights. As the world paid their respects to a man who defied medical predictions on his life expectancy, Neymar Jr posted an image with his own message, one taken from the Englishman's many quotes.

But it remains to be seen whether or not Les Parisiens will give in to the whopping salary demand.

Of course, if Neymar was to move to the Spanish capital he would be one of the few players to have lined up alongside both Ronaldo and Lionel Messi after spending four seasons with the Catalan giants.

The Parisians secured Neymar from Barcelona for a world record £198 million and sent a strong message that they wanted to truly contend for the Champions League once and for all.

Speaking to Canal+, the Brazilian star said that he was "sure" that the €222 million attacker "will stay".

"I am waiting for the next week to speak with him", Silva said following Sunday's 2-1 win at Nice.

Therefore, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez "cannot relax" and must push forward with his club's interest. He can do whatever he wants off the pitch if he continues to do what he does on it.
