Microsoft releases Windows 10 build 17115 to the Slow ring

It's also worth noting that there are now no known issues with Windows 10 build 17115.

Microsoft today released a new Cumulative Update for Windows 10 devices running Creators Update aka version 1703. The news may have been confusing to many, which is why the company has given a more detailed explanation.

Microsoft announced Windows 10 S in 2017 as a lightweight version of its Windows 10 operating system, created to compete with Google's Chrome OS.

The main cause is probably the shortage of apps in the Microsoft Store. It was released on July 29,2015.It is the first version of Windows that receives ongoing feature updates.

It remains unclear how turning Windows 10 S into a "mode" will alleviate customers' confusion.

Previous rumors suggested that Windows 10 Home users will be able to disable S Mode free of charge, while users of Windows 10 Pro with S Mode would have to cough up $49 to get the full version of Windows 10.

By including Windows 10 S as a mode in Windows 10, Microsoft is giving customers the option to lock down their computer for better battery life and security when they choose and to switch it right back to traditional Windows when they want to use more advanced programs or features. These rumors turned out to be false as Belfiore confirmed in his blog post. Microsoft expects that Windows 10 S-mode enabled devices will start shipping in the coming months from its partners.

This new approach is vastly different from Microsoft's original strategy.

However, PCWorld senior editor Mark Hachman noted in a tweet yesterday that Futuresource's report did not specifically mention Windows 10 S. When it released Windows 10 S past year, Microsoft said it had developed the OS based on feedback from students, teachers, and school administrators around the world.
