"We are aware of Fivay High School students discussing rumors of violence through social media".

The principals at both schools contacted the Lower Paxton Township Police Department, who then began an investigation.

Police are increasing their presence at a high school outside Albuquerque after a shooting threat was made against the school. "But this kid just made a decision to jump on the momentum and make a joke out of it".

On Friday, a student at Arvada West High School wrote in both the girls and boys bathrooms that there would be a shooting at the school on February 16, according to the district.

The juvenile was initially transported to the Marion County Jail and later transferred to the Franklin County Juvenile detention facility pending a first appearance in court.

Cleveland also stressed such threats should not be pulled on anyone as a joke, as doing so could lead to serious legal consequences.
