
As rumors surrounding Floyd Mayweather heading to the UFC continue to circulate, UFC president Dana White is only adding fuel to that speculation.
"Don't count anything out on him coming over to the UFC, that anything is possible", White said on the show, noting that he didn't think the Conor McGregor and Mayweather boxing match would happen, until of course, it did this past August. "Listen, you guys know I was here, I did not believe that McGregor-Mayweather would happen and it did".
On Fox Sports" Undisputed, the UFC boss claimed that he was meeting "The Money Team' today, but he also shared his desire for Tony Ferguson to be the man to welcome McGregor back to the Octagon.
According to White, if St-Pierre ever decides to fight again, he will get matched up against a champion, but it won't be his dream bout against McGregor. According to Dana White, Ferguson is only one fight to make for McGregor's return.
To make things even more confusing, Mayweather came out and said he was joking about the whole ordeal. I've been asking for that fight for over a year and a half now", Zahabi said, according to Express Sport, adding, "I don't think it's a insane fight.

Now, these comments are in keeping with White's earlier statements, where he said he would be "super pissed" if GSP vacated the belt.

Citing the windfall that the Dubliner received for his TKO loss to Floyd Mayweather, White is banking on McGregor getting bored of the fruits of his labour and itching to return to action. And if so who would "Money" throw down with inside of the cage?
