Atlus Officially Confirms Catherine: Full Body For PlayStation 4, PS Vita

A new version of Catherine, the puzzle platformer from Persona 5 developer Atlus, is making its way to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.

Catherine: Full Body does not have a release date yet but more will be revealed here on December 22 at 7:30 PM, Japanese time.

The rumors were true, as Catherine: Full Body has been officially announced for PS4 and Vita.

Catherine is an action puzzle game released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2011.

Most intriguingly, there will also be a third woman Vincent will interact with, Rin, who adds new cutscenes and several new endings to the game. A pianist hired at the Stray Sheep bar, Rin is a more gentle and unassertive character whose role in the narrative will be split between Catherine and Katherine. In the real world, he's racked with guilt after cheating on his girlfriend Katherine with the young blonde Catherine.

Atlus has confirmed that they will be releasing a remake of Catherine, dubbed as Catherine: Full body.

Catherine: Full Body is in development at Atlus, and will feature updated visuals some entirely new content. A PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita remake is now in development, the company revealed this week, with updated visuals and entirely new content planned for the game.

Famitsu screenshots feature a slender girl wearing a white sleeveless dress, pink hair in a bob-plus-bangs hairstyle and waving to Vincent, as well as a second screenshot of a new scene with the original Catherine character.

Catherine: Full Body is now only confirmed for Japan but expect to hear an announcement for the official Western release soon.
