LG Launches the LG V30+ with Full View OLED Display

LG will be not selling the LG V30 phone that features 64 GB of storage in India. It is giving away a wireless charger that is priced around Rs. 3,000 and also it is offering Rs. 6,400 worth in-app purchases for the Beat Fever app. The internal storage of the phone is 128GB which is expandable up to 2TB. Notably, the LG V30+ carries the credits for being the world's first smartphone to feature f/1.6 aperture.

LG V30 Plus comes with dual camera setup, it features a 16 Megapixel primary and 13 Megapixel secondary rear camera with dual tone LED flash, Laser Autofocus, EIS, PDAF and OIS 2.0. On the front, the LG V30+ sports a somewhat mundane 5-megapixel wide-angle (90-degree lens) camera for selfies and video calling.

It comes with a 6-inch OLED FullVision Display with Quad HD+ (2880 x 1440 pixels) resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio.

The V30 is IP68 certified water and dust resistance and can be immersed in up to 1.5 meters of water for as long as 30 minutes without impacting its function. It features a 16MP standard camera and a 13MP wide angle camera. The camera also has a manual mode with access to settings such as white balance, shutter speed, aperture and ISO.

Battery: The V30+ is backed by a 3,300mAh battery and supports both fast and wireless charging. LG has also incorporated the 32-bit Advanced Hi-Fi Quad DAC with digital filters and sound tuning by B&O PLAY. The back panel of the phone features a fingerprint reader. OnePlus 5T is also powered by a 3300mAh battery. It is also world's first smartphone to support MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) technology for streaming high-resolution audio. The phone is an upgraded variant of the much acclaimed V30 model and will be available at a price of Rs 44,990. The smartphone will be available exclusively on online retailer Amazon from 18 December.

Android 7.1.2 with LG UX 6.0+ comes running out-of-the-box on the LG V30+ and the phone is expected to soon get the Oreo update.

It comes with 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0 LE, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C 2.0 connectivity options.
