President Trump Now Says That Wasn't Him on Access Hollywood Tape

In a long story about President Trump's continued support for Alabama Senate candidate Judge Roy Moore, the New York Times reports the president has begun saying the Access Hollywood tape, in which he's heard boasting about sexual assault, may be fake.

According to a report published over the weekend in the New York Times, POTUS has told at least two people that the Access Hollywood tape of him admitting to grabbing women by the pussies is fake news.

This still grab from a 2005 video shows Donald Trump, center, accompanied by "Access Hollywood" host Billy Bush, left, to the set of the soap opera "Days of Our Lives" with actress Arianne Zucker.

When the tape was made public by the Washington Post in October 2016, Trump acknowledged he was speaking in the video and apologized for his comments, in which he said: "You know, I'm automatically attracted to beautiful - I just start kissing them". Trump thinks he's found his way out of the mess, NYT wrote: "He suggested to a senator earlier this year that it was not authentic, and repeated that claim to an adviser more recently".

As Mr. Moore has rejected calls to drop out even as more women have accused him of preying on them when they were teenagers, Republicans have given up any hope that he will fold his campaign. "I said it. I was wrong and I apologize", then-candidate Trump damage-controlled in a video statement that aired internationally on October 7, 2016.

In a not at all shocking turn of events, President Donald Trump has pulled a complete reversal. Add Donald Trump as an interest to stay up to date on the latest Donald Trump news, video, and analysis from ABC News. Moore has denied the allegations.

Pressed to specify what reporting Trump is questioning, Sanders said, "I said what he didn't like and what he found troubling were the accounts that are being reported now".

"I have great respect for women". He said the women were lying, and sometimes suggested they were not attractive enough to be sexually assaulted.
