Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is set to open on June 22, 2018.

While nothing is gleaned at all about the plot, if the film has more footage of Pratt and baby dinosaurs, then we're going to pre-order our tickets for the upcoming film as soon as we possibly can.

The first six seconds of footage from the forthcoming Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom has been released, with Jurassic World director Colin Trevarrow sharing the clip on Twitter.

In the short video, we see Chris's character, Owen Grady, bending down to pet a baby raptor.

What's hotter than Chris Pratt? Or it could just be a flashback to a baby Blue.

Jeff Goldblum, who starred in the original 1993 film Jurassic Park and 1997's The Lost World: Jurassic Park, will also reprise his role as the quick-witted mathematician Ian Malcolm in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.

The film is now scheduled for a mid-2018 release and if the rumours are true we'll see trailers start to come out next month.

So clearly, there's still ripe excitement for the sequel, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom - I mean, it's a film about dinosaurs, so it's extremely hard to not get excited. The actual trailer for the film should prove more insightful in that respect, revealing more about how exactly the sequel will continue to evolve and expand the themes from the first Jurassic World and the Jurassic Park trilogy that came before it.
