IOS 11.1.1 is here: Apple finally fixes "i" autocorrect issue

IOS 11.1.1 is here: Apple finally fixes

If you happen to have an iPhone X and you're living in a cold region, you might have come across a situation where your device's screen stops working or is unresponsive to touch.

The iPhone X went on sale earlier this month and it seems like a hit.

The issue first popped up on Reddit, where several commenters said they had encountered an issue that makes the iPhone's screen unresponsive.

Apple has appeared to recognise a recent fault in the iPhone X after some users reported that it wouldn't work in the cold.

'I try swiping on websites and it doesn't register my finger. It's very noticeable. Is anyone else having this problem?' However, it turns out that there is a software bug causing the issue and might be fixed by an update.

Basically, you shouldn't be using your iPhone in either very cold or really hot conditions, and that's usually the case for most phones in 2017.

Guidance offered by Apple on its website reads: 'Low or high temperature conditions might cause the device to change its behavior to regulate its temperature.

While the iPhone X has only been out a week, it looks like there are issues with the handset.

According to the post on Reddit, the user states that it takes only a couple seconds for the screen to become unresponsive when going from a warmer to a colder climate.

Apple is rolling out a software update that fixes an autocorrect glitch affecting iPhones and iPads that changes the letter "i" to the letter "A" and a symbol. So there you have it-you might not be able to dodge winter, but you will (eventually) be able to use your iPhone without this annoying phenomenon.

Others claimed that iOS device screens could become unresponsive outside Apple's recommended temperature range of 0 to 63 degrees Celsius.
