World Of Warcraft Level-Scaling For All Of Azeroth Coming Soon

World Of Warcraft Level-Scaling For All Of Azeroth Coming Soon

This will mark the seventh complete expansion pack for World of Warcraft, which will implement new zones, level cap increases, and a look at the ongoing conflict between the game's two divisive factions: Alliance and Horde.

Blizzard has been clearly been listening to World of Warcraft fans over the years.

First on the list of additions are the new questing zones, both legendary in the Warcraft lore: Zandalar for the Horde, and Kul Tiras for the Alliance. Neither was given a release time frame, though Brack's comments about the classic server in particular, "It's gonna take some time, but it will happen" suggested it was not imminent.

In an extensive interview with Polygon, World of Warcraft director Ion Hazzikostas discussed the game's journey since Warlords of Draenor-an expansion with poor endgame content partly responsible for driving almost 4 million subscribers away.

For longtime World of Warcraft fans, this is a dream come true.

Announced during the Blizzcon 2017 opening ceremony, World of Warcraft Classic is now in development, although a specific release date remains unknown. As a new age of warfare begins, Azeroth's heroes must set out on a harrowing journey in search of new allies, race to claim the world's mightiest resources to turn the tides of war, and fight on several fronts to determine which side will lead Azeroth into its uncertain future. The expansion also adds new race alternatives for each faction, which can only be unlocked through quests.

There's a new "islands" system at play as well in Battle for Azeroth, where players can work in trios to explore certain areas where special enemies and missions change as the game wears on.

No release date or specific details have been revealed, but more information about the official classic servers for World of Warcraft might be released over the duration of BlizzCon. A quick preview video of the expansion also teases new dungeons, raids, allied races, and uncharted islands to plunder. While many expansions have been set on the land, Battle for Azeroth takes place in the ocean between the Maelstrom and the Eastern Kingdoms. Each continent has three zones each that feature the dynamic level scaling system found in Legion (more on the later), and once a player reaches level 120, they will be able to travel to the other continent.
