Breaking Bad Fans Not Sending Their Best So Wall Is Needed

The pizza-tossing had gotten so bad that the show's creator, Vince Gilligan, urged fans to knock it off more than two years ago.

Fans of "Breaking Bad" haven't stopped throwing pizzas on "Walter White's house" to reference a classic moment since the show aired.

To keep people away from the Albuquerque, New Mexico home, Joanne Quintana says they have made a decision to install a six-foot high wrought iron fence around the perimeter.

She said her home is bombarded on a weekly basis with countless tourists - up to "hundreds" on one weekend - seeking photographs and stealing rocks for souvenirs.

The house has been visited by so many fans - some of whom are apparently eager to hurl a pizza onto the roof, like Bryan Cranston's meth-cooking alter-ego did on the show - that the homeowners are building a six-foot-tall fence around the entire property.

"We don't want to gate ourselves in", she said.

A neighbour said: "All day, non-stop, there's people up and down this road. They park in front of our driveway and block us in", a neighbor said.

Joanne Quintana, told KOB 4, the problem had become so serious she felt compelled to seal off the home behind an imposing fence.

You may recall from the halcyon days of Breaking Bad that Walter White, seized by familial frustration, threw a pizza onto the roof of his house. According to The AV Club, he said in part, "There is nothing original or cool about throwing pizzas on this lady's roof".

Breaking Bad fans have never forgotten the scene, a laugh-out-loud amusing moment amidst a dark and intense television show about selling meth. "You're not the first".
