Apple Unveils Powerful New iMac Pro

Apple's WWDC always brings big news, but the hardware upgrades came fast and furious this time around, including major improvements across the board for Apple's entire iMac line, complete with a new iMac Pro, putting Apple's Mac Pro workstation-class desktop into the iconic iMac form-factor.

There are a number of things that are expected to be announced at WWDC 2017. The updated iMacs will be available later today. The stock closed off $1.57 at $153.88 per share, off around 1 percent on the day.

Besides announcing pricing details for its home market, the firm has revealed Indian price for the products as well. We expect the stock to peak somewhere north of $160 at some point.

The new graphics enables extraordinary computing experiences, gaming and immersive virtual reality (VR) on select models.

The iMac is getting an upgrade. We're talking better screens, more memory, the latest Intel Kaby Lake 7th gen processors, more storage and two USB Type-C ports with Thunderbolt 3.

The display for the setup remains the same, the 5K Retina monitor, which is the highest in Apple's lineup and will now be output an vast graphic performance - thanks to the new AMD Radeon Vega graphics GPU. The 21.5-inch entry-level iMac will cost $1,099, 21.5-inch iMac with 4K display takes a drop in price to $1,299, and the 27-inch iMac with 4K display will start at $1,799.

The new 10.5-inch iPad Pro starts at Rs. 52,900 for the 64GB Wi-Fi model, Rs. 60,900 for 256GB, and Rs. 76,900 for the 512GB model.

Refreshed 13- and 15-inch models.

The screen is incredible, with detailed images like a 3D map of NY rendered beautifully on the faster 120Hz display. The 13-inch MacBook Air also got some love with a new 1.8 GHz processor. You'll be provided with an option to shell out moolah to include up to 16GB of VRAM and up to 4TB for SSD storage. It's the most powerful iMac that Apple has unveiled till date. Apple spent a long time framing this as a high end speaker first - something that competes with the Sonos or the Samsung Multiroom - and in a different league to "smart" speakers like the Google Home or Amazon's Echo.

Will run iOS 11, which has new features like a file browser for file searching, an improved bottom doc, other improved windowing and multi-tasking features.
