Massive mystery sea creature washes ashore in Indonesia

Check out video of the rotting creature below. This is a rare animal. However, the size is more than 22 meters with a width of four meters.

The massive pile of decomposing flesh measures nearly 50 feet long and has washed up onto the shore.

Patasiwa Kumbang Amalatu posted a YouTube video of locals inspecting the "mysterious" carcass Wednesday. "These aren't tusks. This is its mouth, but it's covered with decomposed skin". In 2015, a creature with a long beak and furry tail was found in Russian Federation, which baffled marine experts around the world.

A group of marine scientists were reportedly scheduled to take samples of the creature on Thursday, according to Detik.

"Spoilers: It's a rotten whale carcass", tweeted Andrew Thaler. It was eventually thought to be some form of dolphin, with a representative from the Sakhalin Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography, Nikolay Kim, saying, "I can confidently say that this is some kind of a dolphin". "I doubt that it lived in our waters".

"We often get tropical and subtropical species here, and when they cool down, they stay here and then die", Kim added. However, it has fur.

People are trying to identify a mysterious sea creature, but this time it's a long, long way from Scotland's Loch Ness.

Locals have flocked to glimpse the 15-metre monstrosity, which is so big it was initially mistaken for a stricken fishing boat. However, others have suggested that it's not a squid at all, but a dead whale which has grown unidentifiable due to decay.
